Super cute little restaurant in the middle of nowhere. It came highly recommended, so we drove out for my husband's birthday lunch. He is a hamburger connoisseur! He got the bacon double cheese burger, and I had the birria tacos. They were out of fries for the day so we got onion rings and mac and cheese bites. The onion rings were not my favorite but the mac and cheese bites were very good. Nice and creamy. The birria tacos were great, I got mine no red cabbage (highly recommended getting them this way). The stew was rich and flavorful. It's a teeny place with only a handful of tables but they have a great menu. Very friendly staff.

My wife and I visited the Purple Pit Stop today. They are the only place I've found around here that has massively oversized tenderloin sandwiches. We went to try them out for the first time, and it was awesome. So huge. The service was very friendly and very accommodating. The tenderloins were cooked to perfection, and the flavor was on point. The fries were delicious. My only complaint at all is that I didn't care for the house ketchup, but that is a trivial condiment and speaks nothing of the greatness of the food provided by this fantastic local pitstop in Polk City.

First off! These people stuck their feet in this food meaning “they did a good freakkkinnggg job with seasoning, texture,taste flavors crispy soft chicken birria tacos were phenomenal! I can’t believe how good their food is I couldn’t even leave because I just kept eating you will not regret stopping here as a matter of fact you will regret not stopping here! Loli took my husband to other authentic Mexican restaurants he said this tacos was the best he ever had! Yummmmyyy my new spot omg they are soooo good

Came for the chicken birria tacos and they were phenomenal. Everything was fresh and delicious. Fries were crispy. Will definitely be back.

Great roadside burger experience. The milkshakes are amazing and made with hand spun ice cream. You can taste the quality. This is a no frills place so you'll eat outside at a.picnic table or take it to go. Just good food.

This is a hidden gem hole in the wall, window service to go or outdoor picnic table dining. I went there specifically for the breaded pork tenderloin and it was crazy good with fresh crispy veggies and perfect seasoned fries for 11.75...I added homemade Cole slaw. Everything else I saw looked good too. Cute purple and light green color theme. Service was excellent and full of smiles. Go there!!

Fun and colorful outdoor dining. Breakfast buritto and biscuits and gravy were very tasty. The line can be long in the morning as it was this morning because they only had one person behind the counter taking orders on the phone and at the counter. While waiting customers were talking about their delicious lunch tacos. Will need to try that next. Definitely worth the wait! #purplepitstop

We just tried this place for the very first time, and we are hooked. Best burger I've had in years. I got the mushroom Swiss and my boyfriend had the pork tenderloin sandwich. The pork tenderloin is huge and delicious. My mushroom Swiss was also huge. They have a special salt for their fries and it to is delicious . We will surely be going back again soon. They only have outdoor seating but in Florida it's the best. Thanks Purple Pit Stop for wowing us.
